Job summary

Power Technique North America LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to grow Aftermarket through hands-on service of diesel‑driven compressors, generators, and tools. You will diagnose, repair, quote, and sell service work with incentives tied to performance.

Based in Anaheim with up to 80% travel, you will be the authorized on-site engineer, communicating technical issues in business terms and building durable customer relationships while delivering OEM‑standard maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with a minimum of 3 years of field service on major equipment.
• Experience with diesel engines, compressors, and generators is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot engine faults and ECU systems.
• Ability to build clear service quotes and upsell repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel-driven compressors, generators, and tools.
• Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on customer equipment.
• Read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and engine fault codes; ensure repairs meet OEM standards.
• Travel extensively to customer locations (up to 80%).
• Communicate technical issues clearly to operators and decision-makers; build long‑term customer relationships.
