Job summary

Power Technique North America LLC seeks a Field Service Engineer - South to diagnose and repair diesel-driven compressors, generators, and tools, and to sell and quote service work directly to customers in the field. You will travel extensively (up to 80% overnight), act as the primary company representative on sites, translate technical issues into business impacts, and prepare clear service quotes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on diesel engine experience with compressors/generators.
• Ability to diagnose faults, interpret manuals and service codes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel-driven equipment at customer sites.
• Sell and quote service work; prepare professional service quotes.
• Travel extensively (up to 80%); build trust with customers; ensure OEM standards.
