Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic/Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a diverse fleet. You will work with a safety-focused team and play a key role in minimizing downtime at our North American locations.

The role requires 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience and a high school diploma or GED, with trade training desired. Excellent tool handling and flexibility with priorities are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment.
• Work safely to minimize downtime and operate within a safety-focused environment.
• Utilize varied fleet equipment including aerial work platforms and power generators.
