Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of diesel and heavy equipment. The role includes working on aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and related gear, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Ideal applicants have 3–5 years of mechanic experience and a high school diploma or GED; some trade training is encouraged. Excellent benefits are offered as part of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training encouraged.
• 3–5 years mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred.
• May need to provide mechanic's tools of the trade.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Repair diesel and heavy equipment, including generators, pumps, HVAC, and related gear.
• Work safely in a fast-paced, varied fleet environment.
