Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to join our field service team. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment, including aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC and other heavy machinery, working safely to minimize downtime.

You will develop hands-on skills across makes and models while following a safety-focused program and contributing to a high-performance team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Work with a variety of makes and models; equipment varies by location.
• Operate safely to minimize downtime and keep customers running.
