Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a skilled Mechanic/Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel equipment across a diverse fleet including pumps, HVAC, generators and heavy machinery. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, and willingness to use your own tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work safely in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures.
• May need to provide mechanic's tools of the trade.
• Repair fleet including pumps, HVAC, generators and other heavy equipment.
