Ziegler Caterpillar in Jackson, MN, seeks an experienced Technician to diagnose and repair agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines and planters. You will deliver high‑quality service to a growing customer base and maintain a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or high school diploma/GED and several years of comparable shop mechanic experience.
• 2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred.
• Experience with AGCO or Versatile products is a plus but not required.
• This role is safety-sensitive and will be subject to a pre-employment drug test.
• Own mechanic tool set and ability to maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, balers, sprayers, tillage equipment, and planters.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to safety procedures.
• Follow standard operating procedures and keep paperwork accurate (work orders, labor, parts).
• Attend formal training and assist to prepare new equipment for rent or sale.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot repairs and support customers.
