Job summary

Chattahoochee Technical College is seeking a part-time Lab Tutor for the Diesel Equipment Technology program. The Tutor will assist students with course and lab work, help maintain the lab setup and teardown, and ensure lab safety under supervision of the Associate Dean and the Dean.

This position is semester-based with up to 22 hours per week. Salary is $15.00 per hour and there’s no state benefits. Employment is limited to the academic term.

Qualifications

• Completion of DIET 1000 and 1010 with a grade of C or higher
• Knowledge of diesel electrical and electronic systems in medium/heavy trucks and heavy equipment
• Lab safety procedures and transcript submission on EZHr

Responsibilities

• Assist students with course and lab work
• Maintain lab setup and teardown
• Ensure lab safety and perform other duties as defined by college leadership
• Part-time, semester-based employment with limited duration
