Job summary

Ziegler Inc. offers an intern technician program designed to give hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment in a shop setting.

You will learn from senior technicians and gain real-world mechanical skills while developing teamwork and safety awareness. Starting wage for this internship is $21.00 per hour, with scholarship opportunities, mentorship, PPE, and tool-insurance support.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a 2-year degree program in diesel engine mechanics, construction and/or agricultural equipment mechanics or related study.
• Maintain good grades.
• Receive positive recommendations from instructors.
• Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player.
• This role is safety-sensitve and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines, construction or agriculture equipment in a shop environment.
• Learn to respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.

2-year degree in diesel engine mechanics or related study
