Job summary

Ziegler Inc. in Dayton, MN is offering an internship for aspiring technicians to gain hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment. You will learn from senior technicians in a shop environment and develop real-world mechanical skills.

Starting wage is $21.00 per hour. The program includes scholarship opportunities, mentorship, PPE and uniforms, and a safe, supportive work environment designed to prepare you for a successful career in diesel and equipment

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year diesel/related program.
• Maintain good grades.
• Receive positive recommendations from instructors.
• Positive attitude and team orientation.
• Own mechanic tool set.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment.
• Safety-sensitive role with pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair heavy diesel engines and equipment in a shop.
• Learn from senior technicians and respond to customer needs.
