Job summary

Total Equipment Management is seeking a Service Technician in Oklahoma City to diagnose and repair diesel-powered construction and rental equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure machines leave the shop in safe, reliable condition.

Ideal candidates bring experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, plus the ability to use service software and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and compact construction equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues independently.
• Experience operating heavy equipment safely.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use electronic service software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues on diesel-powered equipment.
• Repair, rebuild, and replace engines, fuel systems, hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, final drives, electrical components, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment check-in procedures.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections to ensure equipment is customer-ready.
• Accurately document repairs, diagnostics, work orders, parts usage, and labor hours.
• Utilize manufacturer service software and diagnostic tools.
