Job summary

• Two years of engine building experience.
• Experience with heavy diesel engines and generators.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be computer literate—familiar with computers, software, and tablet systems.
• Solid shop floor management knowledge and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Engine removal, disassembly/teardown.
• Evaluation of components and repair/maintenance as needed.
• Sending key parts for machining (not done at our facility).
• Engine reassembly and full documentation of work performed.
• Daily communication with parts department and shop foreman/service writers.
