Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in the United States is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our growing fleet maintenance team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair equipment to keep job sites running smoothly across a variety of makes and models.

The role requires 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. A bilingual capability may be valuable depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Diagnostics and repairs on equipment
• Work with diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment
