Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to service a diverse fleet across various sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on diesel-powered equipment, with a focus on safety and uptime.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of mechanic experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations. Ability to work in remote sites and lift heavy equipment is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work with a variety of makes, models and equipment, including aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment.
• Ensure safety-focused operations and adhere to company policies.
