Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic to support preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repair of our fleet across North America. You’ll work on a variety of makes and equipment, with safety as a priority.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities may be needed based on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on a variety of equipment.
• Repair equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Support a safety-focused workplace and flexible scheduling as needed.
