Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in the United States is seeking a skilled Mechanic to support a diverse fleet, performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel equipment across makes and models. You will work with a safety-focused team and opportunities to grow into service or operations management roles.

Responsibilities include maintaining hydraulic and electrical systems, troubleshooting equipment, and adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on a fleet that includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas related equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
