Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. seeks an Industrial & Marine Engine Service Technician to diagnose and repair Perkins diesel engines and other makes across generators, pumps, drills, cranes, and marine vessels.

You will contribute to safe work practices and deliver clear written reports of findings. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of off-highway diesel engine experience and strong knowledge of fuel systems, electronics, and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• 3+ years of off-highway diesel engine experience or equivalent.
• Technical degree or certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and maintain a neat, orderly workspace.
• Diagnose and repair Perkins and other diesel engines across various equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on engines for power generation, industrial, and marine applications.
• Analyze failures to determine root cause and communicate findings to customers and office staff.
• Maintain company equipment and ensure coworkers follow safety standards.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding maintenance or repairs.
