Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking an Engine Technician to support service operations. You will remove engines, disassemble and evaluate components, perform repairs as needed, and coordinate machining parts with outside shops.

You will also reassemble engines, maintain meticulous records, and communicate daily with the parts department, shop foreman, and service writers to meet schedules. Prior engine-building experience is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of engine building experience.
• Experience with heavy diesel engines and generators.
• Must be computer literate and comfortable with software/tablet systems.

Responsibilities

• Engine removal, disassembly and teardown.
• Evaluate components and perform repairs/maintenance.
• Send key parts for machining (external).
• Engine reassembly and testing.
• Keep detailed records of all work performed.
