Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking an Engine Technician in Oklahoma City to support service operations. You will perform engine removal, disassembly, evaluation, and reassembly while keeping precise records and communicating with parts and foreman to meet daily schedules.

Requirements include a minimum of two years engine-building experience, familiarity with heavydiesel engines and generators, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years engine building experience.
• Experience with heavydiesel engines and generators.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be computer literate with familiarity of computers, software and tablets.
• Good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
• Solid shop floor management knowledge.
• Valid Driver's License required.

• Engine removal, disassembly/teardown.

• Repair/maintenance of components as needed.
• Sending key parts for machining (not done at our facility).
• Engine reassembly.
• Keep detailed records of all work performed.
• Daily communication with parts department.

Work Conditions

Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
