Job summary
White Tank & Truck Repair in Belleville, IL is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for a direct placement, full-time position. You will diagnose and repair late-model Freightliner and Kenworth Class 8 trucks, focusing on electrical troubleshooting and major component repair.
You will have access to industry-leading diagnostic software such as Paccar Davie, Freightliner Diagnostic Link, and JPro, and enjoy a clean, organized shop, overtime eligibility, and opportunities for wage progression.
Qualifications
- Experience on Freightliner/Kenworth preferred.
- Strong electrical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with OEM diagnostic software preferred.
- Reliable team player with good work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair late-model Freightliner and Kenworth (Paccar) Class 8 trucks
- Electrical diagnosis of fault codes and check engine issues
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair
- Perform preventative maintenance services
- Brake, suspension, valve, gasket, and hose repairs
- Engine, aftertreatment, and emissions diagnostics
- Oil changes and lubrication services
- Air leak diagnostics
- Tire repair and replacement
