Qualifications

• Two years of journey-level mechanical experience, including one year diagnosing and repairing diesel vehicles or equipment.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles and equipment.
• Work on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and required vehicle inspections.
• Help keep PennDOT’s equipment safe and ready for use.
