Job summary

TransWest is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcoaches, shuttles, light and electric vehicles. You will diagnose and fix a range of systems and maintain detailed service records to ensure high fleet reliability.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, hands-on repair experience or a relevant program, and the ability to work flexibly including outside hours. Seattle-area shop experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Professional experience maintaining and repairing vehicles or completion of automotive/HD diesel program or related degree.
• Placement within Technician career path is based on experience and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, HVAC, electrical, and drivetrain components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts inventory; respond to vehicle breakdowns as needed.
