Job summary

Transwest Trucks seeks a skilled Diesel Technician to perform repairs on diesel and gas trucks, following OEM standards and safety guidelines. You will diagnose issues, coordinate with parts, and document repairs while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to work flexible shifts. A valid driver’s license and diesel tech experience are essential for this position in a dynamic shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR are required.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel and gasoline trucks.
• Familiarity with engine, transmission, drivability, electrical diagnostics, suspension and brakes.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs following OEM standards.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and dealership/factory standards.
• Cross-collaborate with parts to obtain needed components.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions and summarize repairs.
• Record time punches and perform road tests when needed.
• Maintain tools and workspace; follow waste disposal regulations.
