Job summary

Swift Transportation in West Valley City, UT is seeking a Body Shop Technician/Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair company equipment, including tractors and trailers, on a Monday–Friday 6:00 am–3:00 pm shift.

Qualifications

Entry-level knowledge of vehicle systems preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Driver's license required.
Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
Ability to read and understand repair manuals and repair orders.
Ability to use diagnostic software used on tractors/trailers.
Must possess excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on tractors, trailers, and related equipment.
Repair or replace body components and related systems to meet OEM/DOT specs.
Identify non-body related repair items (tires, etc.) and assist teammates.
Support continuous improvement and teamwork to meet company objectives.
