In this role, you will repair and refurbish vehicles such as cars, trucks, and heavy machinery. Your tasks include diagnosing repairs, replacing components like shock absorbers, transmissions, clutches, brakes, and performing wheel balancing, alignment checks, minor body repairs, and electrical repairs. You will also perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, tune-ups, tire changes, and repair or rebuild construction or shop equipment.
You will participate in official state inspections for safety and emissions, perform necessary repairs, conduct road tests, and maintain inspection records. Your work schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential overtime, travel, and dual shifts from November to March. This position does not offer telework. The starting salary for new employees within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is $46,788 annually.
