Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic and related systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks. This role may involve welding and fabrication and requires focus on safety and quality.

The position offers a comprehensive pay range based on skills, with benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and a monthly tool allowance. CDL Class B is preferred within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of suspension, brake, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair heavy- and light-duty trucks.
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools and interpreting service manuals.
• Ability to estimate repair times and materials.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems and repair trucks to maximize safety and productivity.
• Communicate issues with managers and drivers and discuss preventive techniques.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean work area per OSHA standards.
• Perform repairs using Factory Service Manuals and vehicle electronics systems.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and shop helpers.
