Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is seeking a Die Technician to support production with machining and die work. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm with overtime as needed.

The role involves operating lathes, drill presses, milling machines and grinders, inspecting tolerances, and adjusting equipment to maintain quality and efficiency. Candidates should have a technical certification or 1–3 years of machinist experience and basic arithmetic skills.

Qualifications

• Technical Certification or 1–3 years machinist experience required.
• Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operates machine tools (lathes, drill presses, mills, grinders) to produce tooling fixtures.
• Troubleshoots and changes tooling in precision stamping dies as needed.
• Checks machining operations against tolerances and makes adjustments as necessary.
• Identifies specification, equipment or material issues to supervisor.

Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics - Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Die Technician (Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for performing machining and die work to help enhance and enable the production processes for Vishay.

What you will be doing:

• Operates all types of machine tool equipment such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and surface grinders to produce tooling fixtures.
• Troubleshoots and changes out tooling in precision stamping dies as needed.
• Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances.
• Makes adjustments or repairs to equipment as necessary.
• Identifies to Supervisor or Lead-person any specification, equipment, or material shortcomings.
• Performs other various tasks as directed from the Supervisor.

What you will bring along:

• Technical Certification and/or 1 to 3 years machinist experience
• Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Prior production experience is desirable
