Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operates machine tool equipment such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and surface grinders to produce tooling fixtures.
• Troubleshoots and changes out tooling in precision stamping dies as needed.
• Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances.
• Makes adjustments or repairs to equipment as necessary.
• Identifies to Supervisor or Lead-person any specification, equipment, or material shortcomings.

Job Title and Schedule

Die Technician (Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for performing machining and die work to help enhance and enable the production processes for Vishay.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operates all types of machine tool equipment such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and surface grinders to produce tooling fixtures.
• Troubleshoots and changes out tooling in precision stamping dies as needed.
