Job summary

Riverside Mfg., LLC in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Metal Stamping Technician to set up and prove stamping presses, dies, and coil-fed lines. You will own die changes from setup through first-piece approval and coordinate with engineering, tool & die, and maintenance.

You'll read drawings, set dies in various presses, run first hits, troubleshoot defects, and maintain setup and inspection records to ensure on-time production and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience setting dies and setup of stamping presses in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, die prints, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to determine press, die, and setup requirements.
• Set and change various dies in stamping presses and coil-fed lines.
• Run first hits and trial strips; troubleshoot material variation and equipment issues.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Tool & Die room, and Maintenance on die tryouts and repairs.
• Maintain setup sheets, die records, and inspection records.
