Riverside Mfg., LLC is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Press Brake Set Up Operator in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will set up, program, and operate CNC press brakes to form precision sheet metal components per drawings and work orders.

The role requires independent work, strong blueprint interpretation, and precise measuring to ensure first-piece and in‑production quality. Responsibilities include tool changes, bend sequence setup, and coordination with upstream/downstream operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC press brakes in sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Clear communication with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members on part status and handoffs.
• Proficiency with CNC press brake controls and precision measuring instruments.
• U.S. person per ITAR requirements for access to export-controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, GD&T callouts, and work orders to determine bend sequence, tooling, and setup requirements.
• Select, install, and align punches, dies, and backgauge settings; perform tooling changeovers safely and efficiently.
• Program, edit, and prove out CNC press brake programs; calculate bend allowances and dimensions.
• Perform first-piece setups and adjust for springback and material variation.
• Operate CNC press brakes to form parts, meet production schedules, and record quantities and scrap.
