Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI is seeking a Z Shift die setter to set up and adjust dies on large progressive, secondary and transfer presses. You will follow JES, inspect parts for quality, and ensure adherence to safety and process instructions.

The role requires a GED/HS diploma, basic English, and 1–3 months of related experience. Metal stamping and die setting experience are preferred; overtime and night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform duties.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Metal stamping and die setting experience preferred.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred; press operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and changes dies on presses (200 to 2500 ton) to produce quality parts.
• Adheres to quality policy, procedures, and work instructions.
• logs non-conformities and participates in corrective actions.
• Maintains a safe, clean work area and adheres to safety/environmental rules.
• Operates dies/tools and assists with machine setup as required.
