Job summary

Magna International in Piedmont, SC is seeking a Die Set/Press Operator to safely operate and move die sets, perform daily safety checks, and support production scheduling. You will steward die changes, coordinate movements, and maintain 5S standards in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–6 months manufacturing experience, a valid forklift license with safe operation history, and the ability to review schedules in SAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to six months manufacturing experience and/or training.
• Valid Forklift license with at least 6 months of safe operation.
• Ability to review production schedules using SAP.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and move die sets using overhead cranes, performing daily safety checks and reporting any issues that impact safe operation.
• Coordinate die scheduling, staging, and movement between press lines to support production and changeovers.
• Pre-stage, flip, wash, and maintain die sets in tool rooms per PM, build, and production schedules.
• Return die sets to correct, designated storage locations and support organized die storage areas.
• Communicate needed repairs or die issues promptly to supervisors and support teams.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards and perform other duties as assigned.
