Job summary

Dauch is hiring for Die Repair on 2nd and 3rd shifts to repair, rebuild, and maintain dies used in casting and trimming processes. You will read blueprints to build and replace segments, cores, details, and parts, and perform polishing or grinding of die cavities.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and technical education or experience. The role includes eligible benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401k, and vacation, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus and an hourly

Responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies in line with original specifications.
• Use blue prints to build and replace segments, cores, details, and parts.
• Draw polish or grind die cavity surfaces.
• Make repairs, remove stuck castings, correct dimensional problems, change cores and trim punches.
• Perform welding duties as needed.
• Troubleshoot all production tooling problems to determine best course of action.
• Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to complete assigned work.
