Job summary

American Axle & Mfg., Inc. in Twinsburg, Ohio is seeking a Repair – 2nd/3rd shift technician to repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies to original specifications, ensuring dimensional accuracy and tool integrity.

You will read blueprints to assemble and replace segments, cores, details and parts, grind die cavity surfaces, perform welding as needed, troubleshoot production tooling problems, and use appropriate tools and equipment to complete assigned work while following safety and

• Use blue prints to build and replace segments, cores, details, and parts.
• Draw polish or grind die cavity surfaces.
• Make repairs, remove stuck castings, correct dimensional problems, change cores and trim punches.
• Perform welding duties as needed.
• Troubleshoot all production tooling problems to determine best course of action.
• Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to complete assigned work.

Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus!!! Starting rate up to $37/hour plus $0.50/$1.00 shift premium. Performance/Comp at 90 days, 6 months and 1 year.
