Job summary

Dauch is hiring for a Die Repair position in Ohio. You will repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies, using blueprints to build or replace segments and cores. The role includes polishing, welding, and troubleshooting tooling issues to keep production running smoothly.

Starting rate up to $37/hour with a shift premium of $0.50/$1.00. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k and Vacation benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical education and/or experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies to original specifications.
• Use blueprints to build/replace segments and cores.
• Polish or grind die cavity surfaces; perform welding as needed.
• Troubleshoot production tooling issues to determine best course of action.
