Job summary

Corning Environmental Technologies is seeking a Department Head of Die Manufacturing to lead the extrusion die tooling operations within a high-precision machining and chemical manufacturing environment. This role owns the manufacturing engineering strategy and execution across CET’s global network.

The position emphasizes run-and-improve leadership, building bench strength in engineering and technician teams, with a focus on quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience with leadership.
• Proven people leadership—manager-of-managers preferred; capable of stepping up.

Responsibilities

• Lead die manufacturing engineering department's daily operations and long-term strategy.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration to improve die yield, lead time, and cost.
• Coach and develop engineers and technicians; ensure safety, quality, and metrics discipline.
• Deliver measurable improvements in automation, capability, and customer satisfaction.
