Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Apprenticeship or comparable training in Die Making.
• Experience as a Die Maker in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and tolerances.
• Proficient with basic computer tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines to cut and shape dies.
• Inspect dies for compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Fit and assemble dies and tooling for accurate function.
• Test dies and make adjustments to meet design intent.
• Read blueprints and shop drawings to plan operations.
