Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on die equipment and set up dies. The role includes inspecting dies, cleaning and lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Experience with dies and metalworking equipment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all die equipment to keep production flowing.
• Set up new dies and maintain existing ones in a timely manner.
• Inspect dies for wear/damage and perform repairs as needed.
• Clean and lubricate moving parts for smooth operation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Operate forklift to move heavy material within plant.
• Communicate issues to supervision and assist other departments as needed.
