Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Machine Technician to perform routine and technical production tasks with minimal supervision. You will train lower skilled personnel, maintain process flow, and ensure accuracy in measurements and records.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, using micrometers and gauges, inspecting parts, and maintaining safe, organized work areas across shifts. Equal emphasis on quality and safety is expected.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education.
• Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow detailed instructions on routine tasks.
• Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts.
• Visually inspect and measure parts being produced.
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Maintain organization and communicate with supervision and shifts.
• Operate production machines and equipment as assigned.
• Record part quantities accurately and report scrap data.
• Identify part defects and sort/pack parts.
• Maintain gages and ensure proper gage use.
• Load and unload materials on presses, furnaces, and machines.
