Job summary

AISIN Illinois is seeking qualified personnel to maintain dies and ensure the quality of cast components at our London, Kentucky facility. The role includes operating machining equipment, welding, and performing preventative maintenance while adhering to safety standards.

Reports to Supervisor and offers a team-focused environment with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvements and on-site production support.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating/instruction manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations including percentages and area/volume.

Responsibilities

• Lifts using hoist or crane.
• Polishes, grinds, and finishes core insert.
• Welds.
• Performs layout according to design specifications.
• Disassembles and assembles die parts.
• Uses pipe threader to cut and thread pipe.
• Wires limit switches.
• Completes daily repair content reports.
• Completes Preventative Maintenance check sheet.
• Fabricates needed items.
• Operates milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED

1-year college/technical certificate or 2–4 years experience
