Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on dies, stamping presses, robotics, cranes, and other production equipment.
• Inspect dies and equipment to identify wear, damage, alignment issues, and potential failures.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Disassemble, repair, modify, and reassemble dies and related tooling to maintain production requirements.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, equipment functionality, and die condition.
• Read schematics and technical drawings to diagnose problems and guide repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment issues while supporting installations and field service needs.

Die Maintenance Technician

Location: Fairfield, OH

Pay: $28-$30/hr

We are seeking a skilled Die Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dies, stamping presses, and related manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with PLCs and robotics, and the ability to use precision tools to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in die maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting stamping presses, dies, cranes, and robotic equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and electrical troubleshooting, including high-voltage components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency using precision measuring and diagnostic instruments.
• Welding experience is preferred, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
