Job summary

Ms Companies, LLC in Springfield, OH is seeking qualified Die Maintenance Technicians to join our tier-one automotive stamping and assembly operation. You will maintain mass production tooling, support day-to-day equipment reliability, and contribute to a stable, growth-oriented manufacturing environment.

This full-time role offers 2nd and 3rd shifts with overtime, competitive $25–$38 per hour pay, shift premium, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-year degree in Tool and Die Technology plus 2 years of on-the-job experience, or documented die maintenance experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Crane experience.
• Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends.
• Stable work history with good attendance.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must pass a written qualifications test, followed by a hands-on skills test upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures for die maintenance and safety.
• Repair and maintain progressive and transfer tooling used in mass production stamping.
• Weld and repair tool steels.
• Perform hand grinding on dies and tooling components.
• Support mass production by keeping tooling in efficient working condition.

Salary Range: $25-38/hr (Shift Premium and Overtime Available)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Tool and Die Technology plus 2 years of on-the-job experience, or documented die maintenance experience in an automotive metal stamping facility in lieu of a degree
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Crane experience
• Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends
• Stable work history with good attendance
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Must pass a written qualifications test, followed by a hands-on skills test upon successful completion

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Microsoft Office (a plus, not required)

Physical and Environment Requirements
