Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating die cutting or similar converting equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, blueprints, and production specs.
• Basic computer skills for entering production data.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tear down a multi-function die-cutting press.
• Mount dies and adjust machine for proper operation.
• Meet production, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Review job status with adjacent shift operators for smooth transitions.
• Complete production documentation (labor, QA forms, job tickets).
• Perform finishing operations like popping out parts from sheets and moving finished product.
• Monitor quality and stop production to fix issues as needed.
• Follow safety policies and environmental procedures.
