Job summary

RRD Company is seeking a skilled Bindery Operator for its Ohio facility. You will set up and operate a range of bindery and finishing equipment to convert printed sheets into final books, catalogs, and manuals.

You will also inspect machines for safety and ensure high-quality output on a first shift. The role requires reading and interpreting work orders, coordinating multiple stations, and guiding the crew to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret written work orders and job specs to set up bindery operations.
• maintaining dimensional accuracy per instructions.
• independently choosing equipment as needed.
• Familiarity with bindery machine setup and operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate bindery machines including cutting, binding, collating and finishing equipment.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.

• Direct crew through production and monitor output and quality.
