Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred corrugated industry experience.
• Six months experience as a Press Department First Helper.
• Six months experience in the Press and Finishing Department.

Responsibilities

• Set up print and die cut sections of die cutters using proper techniques.
• Ensure bolts on cutting dies are secure.
• Inspect anilox rolls for damage before and after each run.
• Inspect dies before and after runs and repair as needed.
• Monitor box quality (loose liner, warp, size, print).
• Maximize equipment utilization by running at available capacity and speed.
• Train and assist First Helper and Bundlers with machine duties.
• Cross train on other machines.
• Switch duties with First Helper as needed.
• Complete reports accurately (Production Data, Machine Status, Safety Data, Quality Data).
• Submit maintenance work orders promptly; proactively maintain equipment.
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest optimizations; report scheduling issues.
• Comply with all company policies, safety and housekeeping.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
