Job summary

WestRock Company in Kentucky is hiring a Die Cut Operator to oversee the die cut machine's production and ensure quality. You will set up, operate, and prep for runs, train others, troubleshoot issues, and maintain safety and cleanliness with overtime required.

The role requires a High School diploma and basic MS Office skills. The starting pay is $27.15 per hour, with benefits including health/dental/vision insurance and paid time off; actual pay varies by location and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED minimum.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, and apply common sense to detailed written or oral instructions; handle problems with a few variables.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the die cut machine.
• Prepare the machine for the next production run, including sheets and dies.
• Evaluate production quality and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Assist in training other die cut personnel.
• Troubleshoot production issues that may arise.
• Follow preventive maintenance procedures and keep equipment area clean and safe.
• Work safely and efficiently according to company policies.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
