Job summary

WestRock Company in Houston, TX is hiring a Die Cutter on 1st shift, Mon-Fri, with pay of $20-$22 per hour. The role keeps assembly machines running by monitoring feeding tubes and hoppers, filling parts, clearing alarms, and maintaining a clean work area.

You will also assemble boxes and stage pallets as part of the finished goods flow. Daily tasks include reading and clearing machine errors, keeping bins full of parts, labeling and staging boxes, and moving pallets with pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined and able to stand for long periods.
• Experience in manufacturing or working with control panels is a plus.
• Ability to read, understand and respond to machine error codes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor automated assembly equipment to keep it running.
• Read and clear machine faults and error codes.
• Keep material bins filled with work-in-progress components.
• Assemble boxes, tape, label, and stack on pallets.
• Move pallets with pallet jacks and stage finished goods.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized assembly area.
