Surestaff is seeking a Die Cut Operator in Bartlett, IL to set up and operate a Bobst die cutter for finished products and for further processing. The role includes maintenance logs, quality pulls, and packaging documentation.

Training new personnel, loading presses, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace are part of daily duties. Responsibilities also include assisting in inventory, building racks, and supporting other areas as needed while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating die-cut equipment (minimum 1 year).
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong time management with ability to meet quotas and deadlines.
• Must lift 15 pounds and push/pull 2,000 pounds with pallet jack.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Follows all safety and quality procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Job Summary:**The Die Cut Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of the Bobst die cutter for both finished product and product to be further processed. Performs preventative and routine maintenance on all essential equipment and logs such maintenance. Assists operators in the training of new personnel as directed. Loads press as necessary. Responsible for making the required quality assurance pulls and corrects all defects as needed. Files dies, job corrugates and job tickets upon the completion of a job. Makes all required job information entries on job jacket. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Assists Plant Manager with Die Cutting supplies inventory. Erects and builds racks and/or tables needed to streamline operations throughout the plant. Assists in other work areas as needed and directed. Follows all safety and quality procedures.
