Surestaff, LLC is seeking a Die Cut Operator to set up and operate a Bobst die cutter in Bartlett, IL. You will perform routine maintenance, log service, train new staff, and ensure accurate job jackets and quality pulls.
This full-time on-site role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), at least one year of related experience, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Expect lifting up to 15 pounds and pallet moves; overtime may be required. Pay ranges from $24-$32 per hour.
Job Summary: The Die Cut Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of the Bobst die cutter for both finished product and product to be further processed. Performs preventative and routine maintenance on all essential equipment and logs such maintenance. Assists operators in the training of new personnel as directed. Loads press as necessary. Responsible for making the required quality assurance pulls and corrects all defects as needed. Files dies, job corrugates and job tickets upon the completion of a job. Makes all required job information entries on job jacket. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Assists Plant Manager with Die Cutting supplies inventory. Erects and builds racks and/or tables needed to streamline operations throughout the plant. Assists in other work areas as needed and directed. Follows all safety and quality procedures. Reports all mechanical and safety issues to supervisor.
