Job summary

EverStaff, a specialized recruiting firm, is actively seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician for a direct hire with one of our top clients in the manufacturing sector. The role focuses on maintaining aluminum and zinc die casting machinery and related systems to ensure high reliability and production efficiency.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on die casting machines and related equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment (furnaces, presses, robots, cooling systems, air compressors).
Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Read electrical schematics and blueprints and assist with installations/modifications.
